DDES and North Durham CCGs Partnership Working Receives National Acclaim

DDES and North Durham Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) have received national acclaim for their diabetes and ophthalmology projects.

The projects have been shortlisted for a Health Service Journal (HSJ) Value 2018 award, a fantastic achievement considering the high number of entries.

County Durham and Darlington Clinical Commissioners and County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust’s Ophthalmology work has been shortlisted for the ‘Acute Service Redesign’ category.

County Durham and Darlington’s Integrated Diabetes Collaboration which has been worked on by County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust and partners which includes the CCGs, has also been shortlisted in the ‘Improving Value Through Better Diabetes Care Category’.

The CCG and colleagues have been invited to present and showcase their hard work to a judging panel in April.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 7th June 2018 in Manchester at the ceremony.
