Patient Power in NHS Planning

Each year NHS Commissioners are required by NHS England to outline their plans and priorities for at least the financial year ahead. To help inform the focus of this work, here at NHS North Durham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) we will be asking local patients and the public for their views and suggestions to inform our planning for the next two years (2017 – 19).

It is extremely important that NHS North Durham CCG commission (buy) services which provide the best possible outcomes for local patients within the financial resources we receive from you, the tax payer.

How to have your say

Your views and priorities alongside clinical evidence and national guidance will then help us shape services that achieve the best outcomes for patients within our resources.

We are holding a series of public events in the coming weeks and would welcome all local patients and public to come along and have their say.

Our event on 18th October will also provide a direct opportunity to engage with staff and clinicians from the CCG. You can register to attend any of events by accessing the links in the table below.

We will be taking on board all comments and feedback that we have received during the past year, alongside feedback we receive in the coming weeks.

If you require more information or have any special requirements please contact Daniel Blagdon, Engagement Lead, NHS North Durham CGG on d.blagdon@nhs.net or 07775 508 260.
